Monaco Grand Prix: arriving by jet and helicopter
Nice slots, the seven-minute helicopter transfer, yacht tenders and why Grand Prix week should be booked by March.

Monaco has no airport, which is part of its charm and all of its logistics problem. Jets land at Nice Côte d'Azur, 14 miles along the coast, and during Grand Prix week the business aviation terminal there handles more movements than almost any airport in Europe.
Nice allocates arrival and departure slots for the week months ahead. By April the good slots are gone; by race week aircraft are parked at Cannes, Toulon and even Genoa and positioned in empty. We hold slots for returning clients from January and confirm them when the quote is accepted.
The helicopter
The transfer from Nice to the Monaco Heliport takes seven minutes in an H145 or AW139 and follows the coast past Cap Ferrat. During race week helicopters run on a shuttle schedule, and private transfers are booked in fifteen-minute windows. From the heliport, a car reaches the harbour-front hotels in five minutes, or a tender takes you directly to a yacht in Port Hercule.
We treat the week as one itinerary: jet, helicopter, car, tender and hotel, with one contact who knows where you are at every stage. Tell us which days you want to be on the terraces and we build the rest around it.
