Helicopters: what clients ask
How much does it cost to charter a helicopter?
Indicative rates for this class run $1,400–$8,000 per flight hour before the 7.5% Federal Excise Tax, segment fees and trip-specific charges such as repositioning, crew overnights and landing fees. Most operators apply a two-hour daily minimum. Your quote is itemized and confirmed with the operator before you commit.
How many passengers fit in a helicopter?
Helicopters typically seat 4–12. Seat counts depend on the configuration of the specific aircraft; we send photographs and a floor plan with every option.
What trips suit helicopters?
Airport transfers to the jet; Manhattan–Hamptons, Nice–Monaco; Yacht, estate and event landings. With a range of about 330–500 nm, this class is the efficient choice when those conditions apply; your advisor will say so if a different class serves the trip better.
